As an Applications Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Market Development and Salesnteams to provide technical support and expertise throughout the entire sales cycle. This role involves analyzing data, preparing technical reports, and interacting with customers to ensure successful product deployment and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Complete the following documents and reports in a timely manner:
Pre and post run reports for all product lines.
Data analysis for case studies.
Field incident reports.
Management of large data sets.
Provide technical support to the sales staff during customer interactions and presentations.
Collaborate with the Market Development team on marketing and business development
initiatives.
Maintain strong relationships with the North America Sales team and other application
engineers for information sharing.
Identify opportunities where customer data can be leveraged in marketing efforts.
Qualifications
Engineering degree required.
1-2 years in drilling operations.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and SharePoint.
Familiarity with quality improvement strategies.
Required:
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Houston office based (Mon-Fri)
Ability to be On call (every other week)
Asset: • Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau and Python • Experience with drilling tools, such as Jars and Shock tools • Knowledge of real time monitoring tools, such as Pason
