THIS IS AN ON-SITE ROLE Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preconstruction Manager to oversee and manage all preconstruction activities for our construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all aspects of preconstruction are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement preconstruction plans and schedules
Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met
Manage the bidding and procurement process for construction projects
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project feasibility and identify potential issues
Prepare and present reports on preconstruction activities to management
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards
Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure smooth transition from preconstruction to construction phase
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in the heavy civil market for a construction/engineering company
5+ years of experience on CMAR, Public Private Partnerships, or Design-Build projects preferred
OSHA 30 certification
Strong understanding of preconstruction processes, including estimating, scheduling, and value engineering
Ability to travel to project sites as needed
