Williams Lea is hiring for a Catering and Hospitality Coordinator for our Washington, DC office to work Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm!




Pay: $24.00/hour

The Hospitality Coordinator is a member of the on-site Williams Lea team delivering exceptional customer service at our client locations. Responsibilities include workflow coordination in hospitality, conference room set-up, reception assistance and other general office services duties as needed.



Job qualifications



  • 3-5 years in the industry


  • Expertise in food handling, catering setups, and event execution


  • Skilled in delivering 5-star level customer service with white-glove standards


  • Knowledgeable and capable of elevating to luxury brand standards


  • Have an eye for food presentation and artistry


  • Proven ability to manage reception team


  • Able to create and manage high-profile events


  • Adept at leading teams to ensure food safety compliance and guest satisfaction


  • Innovates to enhance guest experiences and exceed expectations


  • Focused on elevating service for high-end clientele in diverse hospitality environments





Job duties



(* denotes an "essential function")


  • *Coordinate workflow within the team, prioritizing request and delegating duties to associates.


  • * Assist the team in completing large jobs i.e. large meetings or high number of meeting requests.


  • *Ensure team provides outstanding service to client, while building strong customer relationships.


  • *Immediately escalate any operational problems or issues to Lead, Supervisor or Manager.


  • *Produce required reports on schedule.


  • *Provide hospitality intake services as prescribed by manager or supervisor.


  • *Read, interpret and understand all print request emails and forms.


  • *Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.


  • *Make sure that team is following standard operating procedures at all times.


  • *Train new employees on policies and procedures.


  • Maintain all logs and reporting documentation as required.


  • Additional duties as required by client and manager, including but not limited to providing hospitality services including set-up/break down of conference rooms, supply maintenance, ordering and preparing food/beverages as needed; assist with reception coverage, including managing multiple phone lines and visitor check-in.


  • Adhere to Williams Lea Tag policies in addition to client site policies.


  • Use equipment and supplies in a cost efficient manner.


  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
