Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of applications and APIs after DevOps deployments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and test issues while enhancing our CI/CD pipeline to support faster and more reliable releases.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned QA professional with hands-on experience in testing apps and APIs within DevOps environments and has deep expertise in Cypress for automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end testing of applications and APIs post-deployment in a DevOps environment.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress.
Collaborate with DevOps, development, and product teams to identify potential issues and ensure a seamless deployment process.
Monitor and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient testing integration.
Conduct performance, functional, and regression testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to support a high-velocity deployment environment.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on DevOps environments.
Strong proficiency with Cypress for automated testing.
Experience with API testing tools and frameworks.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
