Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Internal-Inventory Accountant in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Managing financial records


• Preparing financial statements


• Analyzing financial data


• Ensuring compliance with tax regulations


• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory accounting


• Federal government contract accounting


• Experience in budgeting and forecasting


• Working knowledge and understanding of NetSuite ERP software and workflows


• Knowledge of financial software and systems


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel


• Working knowledge of other office product


• Communication skills: Communicating with company executives about financial strategies and providing support to other departments


• Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, and Tax Compliance skills


• Attention to detail and accuracy


• CPA certification is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
