Job Description:

Adams & Martin Group is working with an insurance defense firm. We are seeking a Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This role involves handling personal injury and wrongful death claims in the pre-litigation phase.



Responsibilities:



  • Review and analyze conditional policy limit demands and develop strategies to facilitate settlements.

  • Identify all claimants involved in an accident and facilitate settlement of all related claims.

  • Review insurance policies to confirm which clients are included in settlement agreements.

  • Secure required documentation for settlement compliance, such as client declarations and vehicle ownership proof.

  • Communicate regularly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel regarding case status.

  • Draft legal correspondence and settlement documents.

  • Ensure timely payment issuance to claimants.

  • Collaborate with team members on case strategy and settlement resolution.


Qualifications:



  • Strong communication skills (written, phone, in-person).

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to handle a large caseload with multiple deadlines.

  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal court rules a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


Required Education:



  • ABA Paralegal Certificate.
