A Business Process Coordinator reviews, analyzes, and recommends improvements to an organization's business processes through Standard Operating Procedures in order to improve overall organization performance. Additionally, they will assist the Director of Project Management in the research of various technology platforms to be used in the organization. The Business Process Coordinator work is largely independent yet is responsible to all departments within our organization. Understand all processes within the organization and view them through the lens of a client's experience. You will need to deliver results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment and be a specialist on both complex technical and business matters.

OBJECTIVES
Assist in coordinating with the Director of Project Management and President to reflect procedures of the system of record
Participate in the effort to define, document and refine processes, procedures and workflows for business operations based on company best-practices
Monitor and report on team progress through project reporting accountability and Quarterly Team Meeting coordination
Work with a variety of cross-functional internal teams to identify process gaps, distribute opportunities, measure impact, inform decisions, and roll out programmatic solutions
Develop functional and process expertise to create and streamline SOPs
Leverage technology to enable process efficiency, data analysis and process capability
COMPETENCIES
Robust and proven business acumen
Ability to identify and accurately document complex processes, while showing visually how they relate so that team members can understand them, use them, and be held accountable to fulfilling them
Ability to create process flow charts
Follow current processes and understand them on a deeper level prior to suggesting changes
Make change recommendations based on the cultural, operational, and financial standpoint of the current state of the company
Integrates into departments outside of their knowledge base and support improvement of the department
Assists in the creation of templates to be used across the organization
Quality control processes existing and newly created processes
Experience with project management software (e.g.,Asana)
Experience with process flow chart software (e.g.,Lucidchart)
Substantial experience with G-Suite (Slides and Docs)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience
Preferred 2 years' work experience in Business Consulting or Management
2 years or more of work experience in process improvement
