As the Executive Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department Chief by managing complex calendaring, coordinating travel arrangements, facilitating event logistics, and preparing reports. This highly visible position demands candidates who can exercise sound judgment and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities:
Complex calendaring with competing priorities
Coordinating travel arrangements with the best use of time and efficiency to minimize potential travel issues
Coordinate meetings, events, and conferences
Manage projects and deadlines
Perform financial reimbursements
Compose expense reports
Handle highly confidential information with an appropriate level of discretion
Maintain effective and proactive communication with faculty, staff, and administrators as required
Prepare and edit letters, memos, and other correspondence
Organize and maintain the workings of the executive's office
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience supporting C-suite executives
Project Management experience
Bachelor's degree
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
