WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER

The Development Coordinator provides a full range of support to the Idaho Chapter of The Nature Conservancy's Development Program. They will be responsible for various activities in support of the chapter's fundraising efforts, including drafting correspondence and acknowledgements, assisting donors with asset transfer, scheduling, and coordinating logistics of meetings and follow-up especially with donor prospects and trustees. They will plan and coordinate special events. They will provide administrative support to the Development Director, including a variety of general administrative support tasks, which include travel arrangements, calendar management, processing expenses, and answering phones.

The Development Coordinator will have substantial contact with donors, trustees, staff and legal and financial professionals. They may provide program information to prospects and donors and assist with writing development publications and proposals. The Coordinator uses the available fundraising management system and applies established processes and practices in order to improve effectiveness. They will provide other staff with the information they need to make decisions and solve problems. The work environment may involve infrequent exposure to disagreeble elements and minor physical exertion and/or strain.

This is a part-time, 20 hour per week role and is eligible for benefits.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree and 1 years' experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience generating reports and interpreting data.
  • Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Experience organizing time and managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working across teams and communicating with a wide range of people.

SALARY INFORMATION

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $$27,771 - $36,114 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
