Schedule: 8:30am- 5:00pm, Monday - Friday (We are able to be flexible with schedule if weekend work is desired.)

As the first point of contact for families, visitors, and staff, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and supporting our daily operations.
Job Description: As a Receptionist at VPA, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and customer service tasks. Your duties will include answering phone calls, greeting and checking in visitors, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front desk areas, and assisting with various office tasks. This role is vital to ensuring smooth communication and a positive experience for residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Greet visitors, residents, and families with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
Check in visitors and ensure proper visitor protocols are followed.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
Stock and maintain office supplies and lobby materials (e.g., brochures, forms, masks, etc.).
Assist with various administrative tasks, including filing and data entry.
Handle inquiries and provide accurate information to residents, families, and visitors.
Ensure confidentiality and privacy of sensitive information at all times.
Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred.
Basic knowledge of office equipment (phone systems, computers, printers).
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework is a plus).
Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude toward residents and visitors.
Prior experience in a healthcare or skilled nursing environment is a plus, but not required.
