SA-TECH supports the U.S. Army Sustainment Command's Enhance Army Global Logistics Enterprise Logistics Support Services at Schofield Barracks and Pohakuloa Training Area, HI. We provide maintenance services in the form of above-brigade-level, field, sustainment, and limited depot-level maintenance support as well as transportation counseling services and handling passenger, equipment, and cargo movements for Army Field Support Battalion Hawaii's (AFSBn-HAW) assigned tactical units and government affiliated civilian agencies.
We are currently hiring Heavy Equipment Mechanics / Quality Control Inspectors (QCI) for our Maintenance Shops at Schofield Barracks, HI to perform technical inspections (both on-site and off-site) on a wide range of Army tactical and commercial wheeled vehicles, power generation units, construction equipment, MILVAN containers, electric carts, portable light sets, and material handling equipment.
In order to certify standards of repair have been met, along with the operational readiness of the equipment, our QCIs perform technical inspections to determine equipment condition upon receipt of work orders and final inspections once repairs are complete, as well as Stage III/IV corrosion assessments. Inspectors are required to prepare detailed technical inspections across supportable equipment types (using AR 750-8 required forms) to identify man-hours needed troubleshooting and repair part requirements. Additionally, QCIs may be required to prepare Estimated Costs of Repair/Damage/Fabrication (ECOR/ECOD/ ECOF) and equipment Classifications.
