SA-TECH supports the U.S. Army Sustainment Command's Enhance Army Global Logistics Enterprise Logistics Support Services at Schofield Barracks and Pohakuloa Training Area, HI. We provide maintenance services in the form of above-brigade-level, field, sustainment, and limited depot-level maintenance support as well as transportation counseling services and handling passenger, equipment, and cargo movements for Army Field Support Battalion Hawaii's (AFSBn-HAW) assigned tactical units and government affiliated civilian agencies.
We are currently hiring an Electronics Technician, Maintenance III for our Maintenance Shops at Schofield Barracks, HI to perform electrical trade functions and general maintenance repair activities across both scheduled and unscheduled requests, supporting a variety of tactical/commercial ground support equipment such as generators, transformers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, electrical carts, light towers, MHE, or other related equipment. This position works under the general supervision of the Maintenance Control Supervisor.
Essential Duties include (but may not be limited to):
Performing electrical trade functions and general maintenance repair activities across both scheduled and unscheduled requests, supporting a variety of tactical/commercial ground support equipment such as generators, transformers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, electrical carts, light towers, MHE, or other related equipment.
Work is performed utilizing technical manuals, blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other literature as applicable and must be completed within reasonable/allowable time frames as prescribed in respective Maintenance Allocation Charts (MAC).
Applicant must possess strong organization and time management skills in order to prioritize the progress of job assignments.
Solving complex issues along the way that may hinder production and the ability to meet timelines.
Utilizing a variety of general and electrician-specific hand tools, measuring devices, and testing instruments to perform work.
Accomplishing work assignments within the limits of established policies, shop practices, and accepted trade practices/acceptable techniques.
Additional duties may be assigned to support contract requirements in a job-related areas.
Assisting general maintenance activities across associated support equipment.
Work Conditions:
Work is performed in a building that is moderately heated, lighted and ventilated.
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors and may be subject to inclement weather conditions.
Must be able to stand, bend and work in cramped positions and be able to routinely lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, unassisted.
Requirements:
Education/Experience/Skills
HS diploma or equivalent required.
Special training through vocational or military schooling or at least three (3) years of applicable experience.
Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis.
Current Hawaii Driver's License required; must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain and maintain a federal Secret clearance.
All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
