Do you love sports? Icon Sports is looking for a versatile Licensing and Marketing Manager who is passionate about bringing to market the best sports consumer products across apparel, accessories, balls and sporting goods. Our next Licensing and Marketing Manager will act as the key liaison with each team in our portfolio of world-class sports teams, identify and secure new team and product opportunities, drive new product and design ideas that adhere to each individual team's requirements, and assist the sales team with marketing tools to achieve sales goals and drive retail placement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage existing license portfolio and expand into new categories
Identify and solicit new licenses
Review license proposals and negotiate key business terms
Complete quarterly revenue reports and annual forecasting
Manage the product approval process from design submission to production sample approval
Research and understand the competitive landscape, consumer trends, and market needs
Review design concepts to ensure they adhere to each team's requirements
Manage multiple projects at once
Perform other duties as requested
Qualification/Requirements:
5+ years of experience working in consumer products licensing
Expert understanding of the licensing industry
Strong understanding of the sports retail market
Strong communication skills
Highly organized
Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and shift between projects seamlessly.
Collaborative within a cross-functional team environment
Team player
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Takes creative direction from Creative Director as well as provide their own creative ideas
The anticipated salary for this position is $65,000 to $80,000, depending on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, and level of education attained.
